This tier 2 builder was established just over 30 years ago and is one of Melbourne most respected commercial builders.  You will be working within a  commercial builder who deliver a range of projects across the Melbourne market – values between $15M to $50M.  You will work on projects across:

• Education
• Retail
• Commercial
• Apartments
• Industrial
• New-build and refurbishment

  
The Role

You will currently be working for a commercial builder, as a Site Manager, to be considered, so you will have a good understanding of the role and responsibilities, but in summary you will be responsible for:

• Managing on-site trades
• Ensuring quality of building
• Ensure construction costs are controlled
• Deliver a timely programme – program 3 weeks in advance and have all trades organised well before they need to be on site.
• You’ll be in charge of the project will be able to think on the go and openly communicate progress of your job through to project stakeholders.

  
Is this job for you?

To be considered you will need to meet these ridged selection criteria:

• Shown loyalty to former employers – they value loyalty and commitment very highly
• Overseen both structural and internal construction works
• Experienced in construction jobs, with basements
• Experienced delivering residential builds within recognised builder, in Melbourne from a minimum of $10 million
• Trade and/or construction management qualified construction professional
• Be a very capable, experienced ‘safe pair of hands’ on similar builds
