The company
This engineering consultancy is Australian owned and have offices in Sydney and Melbourne. They are involved with numerous notable projects across a range of sectors within the built environment, for example, commercial towers, recreational facilities (golf courses, parks), educational facilities and government developments.

The role
The previous incumbent has moved to travel interstate, thus, we seek an ambitious Senior or Associate level Civil Engineer capable of leading a small project team and managing projects start to finish.

The opportunity here is to work in a firm that is recognised Australia wide yet which remains local at heart. Projects are desirable and there’s progression opportunity into a more senior role. 

As part of a civil team of 6, you will work collaboratively alongside a strong group of structural engineers and technical support staff, allowing efficient progress of your projects. 

About you – a few boxes to tick

• Civil Engineering degree with circa 7 – 20 years + experience within a civil consulting environment.
• Good people skills and be able to effectively work with all stakeholders. 
• Technical aptitude. Desire to progress but an understand that you must walk before you can run. You may already be at a part of your career where you run – that’s fine too. 

Remuneration
The position is located in central Melbourne with salary negotiable in the region of $125K – $160K + super.
