The client is a leading contractor in the Water Industry who are recognised for ‘setting the standard’. The business has delivered quality construction assets and maintenance services to the Water sector throughout Victoria for 45 years.
The company is based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, from which the company operates their construction activities throughout Southern/Eastern Melbourne, the Peninsula and Gippsland.
About the role:
Mentored by one of the Senior Project Engineers, position will involve:
- Assisting with the project management of small to large scale projects
- General site management and coordination
- Liaising with key stakeholders (Clients, Consultants, Sub-Contractors, Other Authorities)
- Maintaining and improving existing quality assurance documentation/procedures
- Project cost estimation
- Preparation of tenders
Successful Candidate Must Have:
- Prior Water Industry experience in pipeline construction will be highly regarded
- Minimum of 2 years construction experience
- Excellent attention to detail in all areas of work
- Strong self-management and time organisation skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to learn ‘on the go’ and be self-motivated to complete complex tasks
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team
