Estimator

Building Engineering are entering a growth phase in 2021 and coupled with several internal promotions are now seeking to engage a mid level estimator to join their estimating department. Building Engineering have an established background delivering complex builds across healthcare, education, community, commercial and cladding projects.

You will ideally be capable of pricing your own projects from start to finish on projects but have room for development to tender on larger more complex work ranging from $1M to $50M under the guidance of an experienced estimating manager.

As an Estimator you will be responsible for the following:

• Prepare and compile the Tender and receipt and check all tender documents
• Select appropriate subcontractors /suppliers for tendering and respond to their queries
• Follow up and chase tender quotations from subcontractors /suppliers and compare pricings
• Measuring and pricing of quantities
• Assisting in the preparation of Tender submission including qualifications
• Review Tender with the Estimating Manager and identify risks
